The prevalence of polluted drinking water is most severe in developing nations throughout the world and more particularly in Bangladesh. Our Society is dedicated to the distribution without cost of highly effective home water purifiers to families in Bangladesh exposed to contaminated drinking water from wells and surface sources.
The Canada Water Purifier developed by Dr. David Manz of the University of Calgary is a timely solution to this emergency. Tests have been conducted in as many as 30 countries, proving that the Canada Water Purifier is highly effective in removing pollutants and contaminants from unsafe drinking waters, including arsenic, bacteria and viruses which are often highly prevalent in South East Asian countries such as Bangladesh. Each Canada Water Purifier costs only $200. delivered into a Bangladeshi home!
PURE DRINKING WATER SAVES LIVES!
The Bangladesh Emergency Relief Society will distribute 3,000 family sized Canada Water Purifiers without charge to Bangladeshi families, with the assistance of a major non-governmental relief agency in Bangladesh, Proshika. Eventually, tens of thousands of the purifiers will be distributed through production facilities in Bangladesh, at less than 10% of the cost. We issue official Tax Receipts to the contributors to your Pure Water group. Or run your own little lottery to see who gets the Tax Receipt for the entire amount!
