I have a story to tell
A story of not long ago
A story of two hearts that would not let go
Two souls longing to be together
Finally found love and each other
They were happy and would be
For a long time
Because for the love they shared
They'd each go that extra mile
Like soulmates they were meant to be
'Til one day they drifted like
A boat out to sea
There was no reason for this
Mistake that was made
But with anguish and heartache they soon payed
In no time they came to their senses
Like Cupid shot em in the butt
They soon learned their lives
Were no longer in a rut
Now they were back where
Their hearts had always been
Two souls together again.
"Love Was Worth It All"

Tears fall from your eyes
He's gone off telling lies
You love him too much to say goodbye
So you forgive and forget
With half a smile and a sigh
Then again come the words,
"I'll make it up to you, I promise"
And as always he slips away
With a hug and a kiss
When the time draws near
He's nowhere in sight
Crying is how you'll spend, yet again, another night
It's true he'll eventually come around
Til then he's nowhere to be found
So, perhaps he'll continue to break
Promises now and then
And to keep it from being broken
Your heart you'll have to defend
And perhaps he'll continue to tell his lies
And tears will continue to fall from your eyes
But tears will fall
Yet in the end you will find
Love was worth it all.

When they first met, for a moment the world was put on hold
Nothing was said but the twinkle in her eye said it all
When at first their friendship was small
But just to see his face light up around her said it all
When came the first kiss, that's when they both began to fall
Though not much was said then, the look in their eyes said it all
Now comes the fatal part and this they can still recall
They let "nothing" come between them and yet this still said it all
Since then there's been pain and regret, as they continued down lifes long, treacherous hall
Yet at the other side is the one the other longs for, and when they reach the end that will say it all.

Things to share and talk about
It's something you just can't do without
All your life, friendship lasts
Through the years, you'll look back
Remembering laughs and happy times
Along with the cries and sorry sighs
Friendship can never come apart
Because it comes straight from the heart
Friendships don't die, they continue to grow
So be sure to cherish the friendships you know

Both beautiful and wise.
Or perhaps a friend is like a ghost
Whose spirit never dies.
A friend is like those blades of grass
You can never seem to mow,
Standing straight and tall and proud
In a perfect little row.
A friend is like a heart that goes
On strong until the end.
