El Taco is a band with a lot of influences! 'Ska, funk and blues is a poppy sauce!', that's how we like to call our music.

We're all born in Molenstede (a village near Diest, between Hasselt and Leuven)! Although our age (19-23!), this isn't our first project: all of us have played in other bands (you can read an overvieuw in Dutch by clickin' here)! We have this bluesy gitar-player and me (bass) and our temporaly(?) keyboardplayer love funky stuff as 'The Wizards of Ooze' and 'Buckshot LeFonque'. Our singer is a more poppy guy, while we have a metal-freaked drummer!

 Today we have played about 25 gigs and we are hoping to create a new demo as soon as the finances are solved! There is a need for that because we have changed a lot since our first demo (Viva El Taco, mars 15 1998). The FUNK has hit our music since our keyboardplayer has arrived!
