Sandra Brown sure keeps this book moving. It is so full of sneaky underhanded schemes and coverups. Something is always going on from the first page where Barrie Travis gets that phone call from a very strange first lady slighty hinting something was not as it seemed with her baby's death, all the way to the last page which I am not telling you about : ). After that interview, Barrie knows she has to find out what really happened the night the baby died. There were rumors of an affair between the first lady and Gary Bondurant, an ex security man that left the white house under a cloud, perhaps this baby was his not the president's. Barrie intends to find out! She thinks she will finally have her "BIG" story now. But Barrie gets a lot more than she bargained for. She never expected to be putting her life on the line when this story began!
