Even though this book is a vampire story I really enjoyed it. Which says a lot because I am not into vampire stories. Maeve Tremayne is a very likeable vampire. She only takes blood from the worst of man kind,child abusiers,wife beaters ect. While I read this book I found myself talking to her like she was a real person."Don't fall for him Maeve he is a human that will only cause you pain in the long run" I kept telling her that but she didn't listen *smile* Maeve has other things to worry about besides falling for a human. There is going to be a war between vampires angelss, and warlocks,if Maeve doesn't do something to stop it. And to top it all off if she does succede in stoping the war it will mean that she will be the new Vampire Queen! I gave this book Three stars! A must read.
