Karen Robards is one of my favorite authors. So when I read Green Eyes I was more than a little dissapointed. Granted it is a steamy romance. What with fragile Anna and the handsome gyspy Julian. But it is to typical and predictable for my tast. The story begins with Julian breaking into Anna's home in England to steal Emeralds that he believes are his. Right from the begining sparks few between this mix matched couple. All though Julian left with out his emeralds it was not only the Emeralds that had him searching the world over for Anna. And no matter how hard Anna tried to forget the housebreaker, she just couldn't forget the feel of those arms around her. If you like steam this one sure has it but if your more into a little plot you might want to try something else. Say Karen Robards's "Maggie's Child" instead. I gave this book two stars.
