Our journey begins right here in the U.S.A. We first visit Washington Irving's bumbling school teacher, Ichabod Crane, in The Legend of Sleepy Hollow
We'll be joined by Katrina, Brom Bones, and other Sleepy Hollow villagers while we take in this classic American folk tale.

After a long trip across America and the Pacific Ocean, we land in Korea, home of The Magic Pumpkins
Here we meet brothers, Hungbu and Nolbu, and their magic pumpkins and discover the meaning behind one of Korea's most popular tales.

You'll need to rest up for today is extremely busy as The Enchanted Nutcracker
takes us all over the world so we can see how the Holiday Seasons and Winter Festivals are celebrated by a variety of cultures.
Dec. 18-19, 1998
Off we go to Persia in the Middle East and the city of Old Bagdad. The Shoes of Ali Abou
is a fun story about a miser who refuses to buy himself a new pair of shoes. Wait 'til you see what happens when his wornout shoes take on a life of their own!
Jan. 15-16, 1999
The great, magnificent continent of Africa is our next stop where we hear The Tales of Anasi
Find out what happens when this famous trickster spider spends his time getting others to do his work resulting in some hilarious predicaments.
Feb. 12-13, 1999
With a brogue and a shamrock for luck, we find ourselves in Ireland where we will meet Becan
, the "Cinderlad". Find out what happens when his boot is pulled off by a Princess and how he is helped by a most unusual Fairy Godmother.
March 19-20, 1999
We cross the Atlantic again and arrive in sunny Puerto Rico, the land of Juan Bobo
Here we will see and hear a collection of funny stories about "Simple John" who, although a simpleton, was really born to rule.
April 23-24, 1999
Travelling to beautiful Italy we meet the beguiling Petrosinella
a neapolitan Rapunzel and hear the story of her mother's yearning for radishes and an Ogress' revenge.
May 21-22, 1999
We end our tour in the beautiful country of Germany and meet up with a bragging miller who tells anyone who will listen that his daughter is so talented that she can even spin straw to gold. She may get assistance from Rumpelstilskin
in this task, but it comes at a terrible price.
