It probably will only be functional for another month or two, but Nintendo.com (the first link in my link list) has made a brilliant online "tamagotchi" type game - except not using that gay little tamagotchi dinosaur or whatever the bloody hell it is. It uses Yoshi as pet! You have to play with him to keep him happy, give him fruit so he isn't hungry (He has a different "lucky fruit" all the time - if you feed him that type of fruit he gets filled with happiness!) and you also have to excercise him to keep him fit and healthy. There are chain reactions for what you do with him, for example, if you play with him or excercise him he gets hungry (more so with excercise) and Yoshi gets a little fitness out of playing. The amount of fitness, hunger and happiness are shown as a flower with different numbers of petals, like the health meter in Yoshi's Story! If you play, feed or excercise him when his meter is totally full for each, he gets peeved at you. For example, if his flower is like the flower above the heading on this page for food, and you try to feed him, he will get pisst off. There are full colour Yoshi pics for it, too. Here's a few:

Mind you, these aren't all the pics. Just a few samples. The online Yoshi web pet is good fun for about 5 or 10 minutes every day (he gets older by one year every day!) and is totally free - there's also Yoshi's Story fun facts (a different one EVERY time) whenever you submit changes to your Yoshi!
