The Cowboy
I am the subject of many a song,
I ride my trusty horse all day long.
Searching for lost cattle and steer,
When the day's over, I know rest is near.
I work the whole day long,
Passing out with a country soung.
I ride, and I ride, and I ride, and I ride,
With my good 'ol riding buddy at my side.
We are much more than just good friends,
We will stick by each other 'till the very end.
We joke around, but when we give our word,
You can believe it's true, no mater what you've heard.
We take care of, and lead the cattle and steer,
Traveling far from places we hold dear.
Trying our best to keep the legend alive,
Many times escaping just by the skin of our hide.
This is the legend of the cowboy, my friend;
Ask me once more and I'll tell you agian.
