Dr. Joel Fleischman
Dr.Joel Fleischman, played by Rob Morrow, comes to Alaska to pay off his state-financed medical education. He expects to spend a couple of years in Anchorage, what he gets is five years in Cicely-"on the cusp of the new Alaskan Rivera".
Joel went through alot of "ups and downs" during his time in Cicely. He spent some time "up river", anf left us in "The Quest", what many fans consider to be the best episode. You wont see a fans face dry when watching this episode.
