Janine Turner plays Maggie O'Connell, Cicely's self-reliant bush-pilot/land lady. She flies in packages (and people), to Cicely and owns Joel's cabin.
I couldn't write about Maggie without speaking of her relationship with Joel at the same time. A love-hate, oil and water kind of relationship. The first time they "met", Joel thought she was a prostitute.
Maggie had a past with men...they, well, they all died on her. Except Joel, who just moved far far away, and Chris, who had the last dance with Maggie, they danced to our town.
