Soon it was time for her to go home. They were in Chicago and Ali would be driving home the next day. After the show that night Ali and Justin decided to spend some time alone, since they hadn't been able to much yet. They went for a walk on a beach along Lake Michigan. "Ali?" Justin asked. "Yeah?" Ali answered looking into his beautiful blue eyes. "You know I've never been so happy with someone in my whole life. You see the real me, not just the famous me. You keep me grounded, and I appreciate that so much. I love you so much, you're my beautiful angel," Justin said with tears in his eyes. Ali wondered where this was coming from. "I love you too, Curly," Ali said smiling to him. "I don't want to go home tomorrow." "I don't want you to go either. But it's only about another month till we go back to school. I think we can make it," "Okay, if you say so,” Ali said sadly.
Well they did make it without each other for the month, and when they got back to school they were happier than ever. The school year went by really fast, and before they knew it, it was Justin and Ali's one year anniversary on Valentine's Day. Justin was planning something special for them.
