I hope to have the problem taken care of in the near future.I was asked recently to put the following pictures on this web site to see if anyone might possibly know who the picture of the lady is for certain. It is possibly Martha Milner Poindexter Pettitt, wife of George Pettitt of Surry Co, NC who died in Polk Co, TN. The pictures came from a descendant of George and Martha Poindexter Pettitt who I have recently made contact with. If George and Martha are the parents of our Zacheriah, these people most certainly would be close relatives. If Benjamin and Rebecca Larrimore Pettitt are the parents of our Zacheriah, George would be his uncle and he would still be closely related to the people in the photos. I see similarities between the following Benjamin and our Zacheriah who is actually shown first and Martha Poindexter Pettitt is shown second.
 The lady in this tin type photo is possibily Martha Milner Poindexter Pettitt wife of George Pettitt of Surry Co, NC and McMinn and Polk Cos, TN Thomas Pledge and Sarah Ann Poindexter Pettitt grandson of George and Martha Pettitt son of William Pledge and Jane Ridings Pettitt Benjamin Pettitt son of William Pledge and Jane Ridings Pettitt James and Hannah A Marsh Pettitt son of William Pledge and Jane Ridings Pettitt If anyone recognizes these people as being part of your family, please contact me at address below. We would all love to have the Pettitt, Pettit, Pettet,Petitt, etc. genealogy as complete as possible.
