A Day in the Life

A Tribute to Barb

Barb, for those of you that read my page and those of you who know her, is an amazing person, who also says some fairly amazing things. She was one of my favorite techers, and is alive and well, still doing a million things at a time. Could it be any other way?

She was my Musical Theatre teacher for two years, and was a teacher for a decade before I knew her. She recently retired, much to the sadness of her students. She loves people, young people especially. She had an amazing rapport with her students, and I don't think she has forgotten one, over 12 years of teching. That is remarkable.

As for some of the amazing things she says, who can forget those famous lines, in that great southern drawl: 'Where's my keys?' and 'Where's my glasses?' (Usually followed by ' Go tell Jonny to open up the room so we can get in.') Sure, her methods were unorthadox, but so is she. And that's what makes her who she is.

Barb, you did do it right, and it did work.
