Engraved in Stone
Here, on this stone tablet, my feelings and inner self shows. This
place is dedicated to that small part of every person who felt like
they didn't belong, that yearns for something else they cannot see,
even though they know not yet what that might be. Engraved in this
tablet is the everlasting hope that people will someday realize the
hurt and pain they cause others, the hope that people will love one
another as was intended by whatever being created this realm. For all
those who have stood for something they believed in, for everyone who
has died for their belief, that died for another out of love,
friendship, or nobility, for anyone who has loved or hoped, for
anyone who's dreamed, for anyone who's looked into the face of
another and seen more than another person, for all those who have
touched a soul, and most of all, for all the little children, the
neglected, the hopeless, the abandoned, the hungry, the homeless, the
sad, their hope and spirits are forever engraved in Stone.
