Piggy, 25
Born to a Welsh father and an African-American mother in Middlesborough, England, Piggy earned her nickname when her father declared that his daughter looked more like a piglet than an infant. Piggy grew up in a mostly white section of England and has no African-American friends. Though she is close to her father and his new wife, Piggy's relationship with her mother is tentative. Piggy is smart, sarcastic, and vulnerable.
