1998 Brazil Foreign Mission Trip

"Bom dia Americanos! Meu nome é LaRose"
Translated that is Portuguese for "Good day Americans, my name is LaRose." This is the road we traveled through the jungle. It was at times very hilly, very isolated...and very interesting.

Itapiranga, Brazil is located in the Amazon Jungle. The village of about 2500 people sits on the banks of a tributary of the Amazon River. It is a beautiful area but has many hilly and steep streets. Since we had to walk everywhere we went, I soon became discriminatory about the streets I chose!
