"Friends"
I have always been the trusting type
I don’t have problems knowing wrong from right
I can make decisions on my own
But I really hate being alone
For the first time
In quite a while
I have someone special
That makes me smile
When we are together
We share laughter and love
He treats me like an angel
Sent from above
Never do we fuss or fight
Nor does he leave without saying goodnight
We have a bond that is strong and dear
When we are together I have no fears
He makes me feel special
Kind of funny inside
When he tells me he loves me
I can’t help but cry
I’ve heard those words
So many times
In different ways
From different guys
But when he says it
It comes from the heart
Therefore our soles
Will never part
From here on out
I can handle it all
With him at my side
I’ll never fall
And if by chance
I slip and do
He’ll be there for me
To help me through
With his hand in mine we’ll walk through life
Each one stable and strong
For He’s here for me, I’m there for him
And we’ll never be alone
