Dragonlance

In this series you meet Tanis, an wise half elf; Sturm Brightblade, a Solamniac Knight; Goldmoon, Daughter of the Chieftian of the plains tribe Que-Shu; Riverwind, a warrior and Goldmoon's lover; Raistlin, a magic user who 'shivers my skin' and is very frail; Caramon, a giant warrior in contrast to Raistlin his twin; Flint Fireforge, a dwarf fighter of 148 years of age and Tasselehoof Burrfoot, a light fingered kender handler. These are the Companions.

In the Chronicles Trilogy the companions fight against the growing powers of evil in the War of the Lance.

The Legends Trilogy are about Raistlin, Caramon and Tasslehoff trying to enter the abbys Where Takisis, the goddess of evil dwells.

In the Preludes you follow the companions before the War of the Lance.

The Tales are scattered tales that take place on Krynn. (Krynn is where the Companions live. This is NOT Earth!)
