Elf Quest!
Elfquest is a series of books that are written comic style. The plots and drawing, however, is a lot better. It is about a tribe of elves that goes hunting for the other scattered tribes. This tribe's name is the Wolfriders. their chief, Cutter, is the main character. They run into at least 3 other groups, the Sunfolk, the Gliders and the Go-Backs. I haven't read that many, but I am a devoted fan. My friend and I have made up a time in the future where our own characters are in the tribe. The first part we have in it is The Holt.
The titles are:
- Fire and Flight - Cutter and the tribe flee from their home because humans have set fire to it. When they seek shelter in the troll caverns the trolls trick them into the desert. When the tribe finds an oaisis Cutter regongnizes, an strong attraction between elves, with an elf who refuses to admit it. Her name is Leetah. This book is about what happens to them.
- The Forrbidden Grove - Cutter and Skywise leave their home in the desert to go look for other elves. Savah, the Mother of Memory, gets her soul held somewhere. She gives a message to Suntop, Cutter's son, that his father is heading towards evil. The Wolfriders head out to help Cutter and they get captured.
- Captives of Blue Mountain - Cutter, family, and Skywise head into Blue Mountain to save the rest of the tribe from the clutches of the evil elf Winnowill!
- Quests End -Cutter and his tribe go to find the palace of the high ones and get in a war with trolls from the frozen mountains! They get help from the Go-Backs, a tribe as skillful as themselves. (Almost)
- Siege at Blue Mountain - Cutter and the Wolfriders try to unravel Winnowwill's web of power. Aouree, a glider, an elf who can float/fly, finds the Wolfriders and takes one of their cubs, a floater, to Blue Mountian... To Winnowwill! And the poor childs mother, Dewshine, goes in after him.
- The Seceret of Two-Edge - Sorry. Haven't read this one yet. If you have, I would be in your debt if you would tell me the beginning. So I could make an 'intruging summary'.
- The Cry from Beyond - Ditto :)
- Kings of the Broken Wheel - Eh heh... Guess what? I haven't read this one either!;)
