La La Land
A young woman dressed in green walks up to you. She has long black hair and bright green
eyes. “Kon’echi wa!” You look confused. She cocks her head at you and then sighs. “Oh,
I’m sorry. Speaking Japanese is a very strange rule as of now here in La La Land. Since you
are a visitor I’m allowed to talk to you in English. I am Lala the LA Commander- or that’s
who I am known as.” She looks around and then motions for you to follow her. “Good. We
are alone. You see I am not really Lala the LA Commander. I am Crystal the Green Spirit.
When I was only 2 Centuries old (I am the youngest of all my sisters- there are many, one
for every color) I went rainbow picking with my sister Tear the Violet Spirit. I walked off
and she started calling me back. I walked towrds her and then fell into something and landed
here in this cursed land-La La Land. I landed on the steps of the palace and when King Lah
and Queen Lau found me they mistook me for thier lost daughter Lala. I grew up as Princess
Lala. I still remembered my life as Crystal the Green Spirit and longed for it. However As I
grew older I became more capable and the King and Queen found me useful- I did
everything for them. So one day when I went into adulthood they appointed me as Lala the
LA Commander. Everyone was shocked! Appointing someone as a LA Commander meant
you held all the power but they were burdened with all the responsibility and had to do all
the work! It was illigal! But did that stop them? Noooo! And over the years they have grown
lazier and lazier. I used to hope that over all the millenium they would change but they
haven’t. And now here I am Crystal the Green Spirit trapped in La La Land as Lala the LA
Commander! And I want to go home! Please! Will you take me home?” She turns away
tears in her eyes. “I will show you around if you would like. But everything is bland and
green and covered with Japanese. I would be greatly obliged if you would take me
home.”
Do you
Take Crystal
home? Or... have Crystal take you on a tour?
