Voltron/Stargate X-over

Daniel stepped through the gate, coming face to face with a breath-taking sunrise.  Next to him Jake, Teal'c and Sam also stood still watching the amazing sight in awe.
The foilage around the gate was overgrown.  It was obvious that no one had used it in years.  Next to it was another machine.  It was hooked up to the DHD.
Jack, noticing it, moved over to it before turning his eyes to Daniel, expectantly.  "What is this?"
Daniel met his gaze but was unable to find an explaination he thought suitable.  Evidently Sam had.  As she bent down for a better look she told them he idea.  "It could be an alternate energy source."
Jack looked up at the large, black Jafa.  "Teal'c?"
"I have not seen anything like this before, Colonel O'Neill."
"Well let's see what id does when we dial home.  Daniel?"  Jack said as he got to his feet.  Daniel moved to the large metal object off to the side and began punching in the seven cheverons.  The other machine was quiet until he reached the final one, as the gate activated it whirled at a fast pace, coming to life.
As Daniel looked at the gate he was shocked to see that it was an angry red instead of cool blue in color.
Sam stepped up to it and slowly place her hand inside.  She turned back to the Colonel but lost her footing and fell into it.
"C'mon guys.  We have to go after he.  This is a team, we leave no one behind."
Daniel followed Jack as he shouted.  All three of them ran and jumped through the red gate, not sure of where they were going.
---------------------------
Lance angrily marched through the dense forest, following the path blindly.  Allura had told him, no... ordered him to do a check list on a bunker they had out there.  His back stiffened and his muscles tensed as he remembered her superior and extremely smug look.  Impulsively he left the trial.
Well if Keith had at least done something... stick up for him... he might have shrugged it off but he had agreed.  Well, if he had to do it he was at least going to do it his way.  He continued to storm through the bush when his foot hit a stone and sent him flying down a small hill.  Pain exploded in his head as it connected with the ground with a sickening crack.  Through blurry eyes, he saw a strange circular arc before the blackness at the edge of his visioin claimed him.
----------------------------
Sam literally flew out of the gate but her fall was cushioned by something.  Pushing herself up on the heels of her hands she stared down at an unconscienous teenager, about seventeen years old.  There was 'blood' on his forehead.  She got up slowly and crouched next to him, checking his vitals.  He was fince, just unconscienous.
"Wow.  Now that's what I call a wild ride."  Jack said as he looked back at the gate before she and the others started back to where she was.  "Any idea where we are Captain?  And whose your boyfriend?"
"I don't know who he is Colonel.  I, um, found him like this when I came out of the gate."  She defended herself a slight flush on her cheeks.
A groan came from the kid on the ground, they all turned to look at him.  Slowly his eyes fluttered open.  He blinked a couple of times than just stared at them.  The tension was interupted by a communications device he wore on his wrist, like a watch.
"Lance!  Lotor's sent another Robeast at Arus.  We need you and the Red Lion to form Voltron."
The kid sat up, wincing in pain but when he replied his voice was calm and steady.  "So Keith, you can't kill a Robeast without the best pilot in the Alliance at your side huh?"
"Lance this is no time for joking around.  Pidge is in serious trouble."
The smirk on the brown haired kid's face disappeared and he immediately became completely serious.  "I'm on my way."
The light on the com link went out and Lance started to get up and nearly fell over, his hand going to his head.
Sam moved to his side,  "You should lay down, you have a large bump on your head."
He turned to look at her, grim determination on his face.  "Well if I can't go to my Lion, I'll just have to have my Lion come to me."  He pressed something on his watch before looking up at them.  "You don't look like you're from Arus, but you don't look like Drules either.  In fact, you look human."
"You know about humans?"  Daniel asked, eyebrows raised.
Lance gave a small laugh.  "I should.  After all I am Human.  Look, if you head north you'll get to the castle.  I'll meet you there, if anyone asks tell 'em that Lance Braddock sent you.  Ask to see Coran, tell him your friends of mine..."  Lance shook his head and grinned.  "He'll probably find the fact that I have friends hard to believe."
Over head there was the sound of rapid air moving and engines.  Off to the right in a tiny clearing a red machine resembling a Lion landed.
"Wh-what is that?"  Sam stuttered, eyes wide, staring at the large machine.
Lance slowly walked up to it.  "I know, the Kitty-cat's pretty amazing.  Oh, one more thing... who are you?"
"I'm Daniel Jackson, Teal'c, Colonel Jack O'Neill, and Captain Samantha Carter."  Daniel said quickly.
Lance smiled as he climbed the ladder into the Red Lion's 'cockpit', "Remember, head north, when you hit the path follow it right and it'll lead you to the Castle of Lions and Coran."
He disappeared inside and then the Red Lion lifted into the air, leaving them behind.
"What do we do, Colonel?"  Sam asked.
"Well Captain, we follow the yellow brick road."  Was Colonel O'Neill's reply.
----------------------------
Inside the Lion, Lance's head was pounding but he forced the pain down.  He hadn't wanted to leave the strangers but some things had to come first and Lotor was one of them.  He opened the vid screen up and waited until Keith was staring back at him.  "Never fear the Red ' cat' is here."
"Lance, stop fooling around and get ready."  Keith's extra loud words cut through his head like a pair of needles were being shoved into his brain.  He must have not hidden it well enough because Keith picked up on it.  "You okay Lance?"
"Yes fearless leader.  Now how about if we teach this Robeast some manners."
"Sounds good.  Activate interlocks.  Dinatherms connected.  Infracells up.  Megathrusters go."
    "GO VOLTRON!"
Lance had to grit his teeth hard to keep from cursing as his head pounded with more intensity.
"Form feet and legs... form arms and body... and I'll form the head!"
Lance gazed down at his vid screen, at his four friends intense faces, and had to shake his head when the faces blured momentarily.
He was snapped back to reality by Keith's voice.  "Lance, lion torch."
"Uh, right."  Lance reached over and pressed a button on the control panel, he got the shot off but he totally misjudged the distance and it went wide.
"You missed?"  Hunk said, disbelief in his voice.  "You never miss."
"Well I'm having a rough day, all right mother."  Lance snapped and then he felt something wet drip from his nose and his eyes burred again.
    "Lance, your nose is bleeding."
He just barely heard Allura's observation but he raised his gloved hand and swiped his nose and his hand came away red.  "Oh great.  Guess I hit my head harder than I though.  Stupid, I'm so stupid."
"What do you mean, hit your head?"  Keith asked.
Lance ignored him.  "Pidge, you'll have to use the Blazing Sword.  Keith let's do it now."
Keith stared hard at him then nodded curtly.  "Form Blazing Sword."
Lance quickly punched in a code giving Pidge control of the sword.  "It's all yours Pidge.  Keith I'm giving you control over the Red."  He punched in another code and then leaned his head back and closed his eyes.
-----------------------------------
Keith stared dumb-foundedly at Lance's pale face, his friend wasn't even acting like himself.  If he had been he'd never have given his Lion's control to anyone, including him.
Unfortunately Keith had no time to think about it.  He took control over the Red Lion.
The large robot blocked the Robeast's lunge and then, with a quick move Pidge brought down the sword.  End of Robeast.
"Okay team let's disengage.  Lance, can you land the Red?"  Once again he was watching Lance's pale face.  His friend's eyes blinked open and he gave Keith a tight smile, before nodding.  Keith gave him control.
----------------------------------
Jack stood watching the screen before him, impressed with the way the machines operated but not as impressed as Captain Carter who was pressuring Coran to explain in detail how they worked.  The kid, Lance, had been right.  Coran had been shocked when they'd said they were his friends.  Remembering the look on his face he smiled in 'amu t'.
Then a message came over the comm. link.  "Coran, this is Keith, something is wrong with Lance...."
"Nothing a mental institution couldn't cure."  Coran interupted.
"Coran I'm serious.  He gave me control over the Red Lion."
Coran stiffened, face worried, "Lance did?  But he'd never...."
"And he missed hitting the Robeast with his Lion torch.  His shot was completely off."
"I'll have a medical team standing by."
Jack's eyebrows rose in question, "Is he really that good?"
Coran met his eyes.  "Lance never misses, and as a pilot, the only person who surpasses him in ability is Keith.  He's also stubborn.  I remember him flying the Red Lioni into battle once with a couple of broken ribs and a broken arm.  If he gave up his Lion freely...."
"He did have a nice bump on the head when we saw him today, just before the fight."  Daniel added, trying to help.

The elevators activated and moments later four youths stood before them helmets off.  Looking around they all turned to stare at the elevator that hadn't been used.  A minute later it whirled to life.
---------------------------------
Lance's head pounded but he managed to hold himself together as the doors to his elevator opened and he stepped out.  The medical team wasn't there yet.
"Lance, how are you feeling?"  This came from the Princess, her face was a little blurry.
    "Fine."
"You don't look fine."  Lance turned to the speaker.
"Hey Jack, glad to see you made it."
Jack gavae him a smile, "Captain, think you could take a look at him?"
"Sure, Colonel."  Sam lead him to a chair and began to check him over again, removing his helmet however cause quite a stir when everyone saw the 'blood'.  "Well it looks like a severe concussion, but that's all I can say without some tests."  She looked up at Lance, "I honestly don't know how you got into that machine in the first place."
Lance smiled down at her and gave into the darkness.
