Britanee Ripoll
(Pearl River High School)
 

Britanee is a 5'9" right handed redhead with a very competative nature.  Brit plays beach volleyball and other indoor leagues whenever she isn't involved in school associated sporting activities.  Brit played MH/MB during her freshman year but enjoyed her sophmore year as an OH/OB because she feels she had the opportunity to be, and was much more active/aggressive.  Brit was also involved in and was a varsity starter with her high school Basketball program in which her team was the District 6-AAA champions in 1998.  (1999 season is still in progress and they are doing very well)
Brit maintained a 3.8 GPA throughout her two (2) years in high school.  Brit would like very much to continue her volleyball career past high school and play for a university with a competative program while attaining her college degree in veterinary medicine.
 

In her two (2) years of high school she has been awarded the following:

*  Outstanding female athlete of the week in St.Tammany Parish several times
*  Member of All St. Tammany Team both years
*  Selected to first team District 6-AAA All-District in freshman & sophmore years
*  Member of all tournament team and tournament MVP for SLU volleyball tournament
*  Selected All Offensive and All Defensive several times throughout last two (2) years
*  Played Off-Season volleyball with AAU teams last two (2) years
    (1998-Hurricanes (coach Kelli Lemoine;1999-St. Tammany Select (coach Nancy Ripoll))
*  Averaged 8 kills per game in freshman year and 10 kills per game in sophmore year
*  Attended SLU & Nicholls State volleyball camps
*  Member of her high school FBLA
*  Listed in Who's Who Among American High School Students
*  Member of Pearl River High School student council
*  Received National English Merit award
*  Member of Sts. Peter & Paul CYO
*  Invitation to Expersport Invitational tournament in Holland, June 1999
*  Invitation to Netherlands Blast, July 1999
