Where can I start my research on The Rez Sisters?

We are trying to represent a broad range of literature, we wanted to include at least one play. The Rez Sisters provides an opportunity to discuss what constitutes Postcolonial Literature. Is Canadian Literature postcolonial because we were colonized? Is Native Literature postcolonial because it lies outside of the dominant white culture?

We can also consider the role of the author: Do we have a tendency to view authors as representatives of their race? Not all native communities are supportive of Highway's work-- is his responsibility to his writing or to his community?
