Each night I look to the stars above,
and long to be with the one I love.
The one so dear, and close to my heart,
at one point with her I did part.
For she is gone, no longer here,
the one I love, the one so dear.
Now, each night, I look to the sky,
and try to hold back, try not to cry.
The stars so mystical, stars so bright,
remind me of my true love, each and every night.
Until the night that I can join her there,
I only wait, and forever glare
into the sky where she is now,
one day I'll join her, if I only knew how...
