Her Heart Goes On...

The gift of life and sight has been given
to others due to Christin's organ donation.
For that reason, her heart truly does go on..

The world has lost a loving daughter, a devoted
sister, a beautiful smile, a kind and loving
heart, a friend whose memory is forever engraved
on our hearts . . . a rose.

Christin graduated from Live Oak High School, Watson,
Louisiana in May 1996. She then enrolled at
Southeastern Louisiana University where she was
pursuing a major in Family and Consumer Sciences.
She was very creative and discovered, through oil
painting, a few months before her death, that she
had a great deal of artistic talent.

Christin had great love for her family, friends, her
school, and most of all, God. She was completing her
sophomore year at Southeastern when tragedy struck.

Because of her love for her schools, a scholarship has
been established by her family as an everlasting
memorial.

Give my sight to someone who has never seen a sunrise,
a baby's face or love in the eyes of a woman.
Give my heart to a person whose own heart
has caused nothing but endless days of pain.
Give my blood to the teenager who was pulled from the wreckage of his car,
so that he might live to see his grandchildren play.
Give my kidneys to one who depends on a machine to exist from week to week.
Take my bones, every muscle, every fiber and nerve in my body
and find a way to make a crippled child walk.
If you must bury something, let it be my faults,
my weaknesses and all the prejudice against my fellow man.
If, by chance, you wish to remember me,
do it with a kind deed to someone who needs it.
If you do all I have asked, I will live forever.
~Robert N. Test

Every night in my dreams,
I see you, I feel you.
That is how my heart goes on.
Far across the distance
And spaces between us,
You have come to show you go on.
Near, far, wherever you are,
I believe that the heart does goes on.

It would mean so much if you would take
just a moment to sign our guestbook

This green ribbon symbolizes organ donation.
We are proud to wear this ribbon on our site
with the hope that others will see the critical
importance of organ donation.
