<Time Without Her
Daughter Memorial

Why is it that some days it seems as though Shelley
was just here and some days it seems like forever?

Our Lord tells us that to him a day is as
a thousand years and a thousand years as a day.
(Holy Bible, II Peter 3 vs. 8.)

To those of us who are left here without Shelley,
it seems like a thousand years, although it has only been
two years since the accident that took her from us.

Life for many will never be the same. The joy and laughter that
Shelley shared with others will always be remembered in our hearts.

What a glorious day when we will see that beautiful smile again.....

You were more perfect than I could have hoped,
more beautiul than I could have dreamed,
more precious than I could have imagined
I love you more than I could know....

"Sometimes I feel frozen in place,
as though I will never move or grow again.
But all the time, One who is higher than I
is leading me through this dark land."....
Shelley, you are always with me.

"Time In A Bottle"

If I could save time in a bottle
The first thing that I'd like to do
Is to save every day
Till eternity passes away
Just to spend them with you

If I could make days last forever
If words could make wishes come true
I'd save every day like a treasure and then
Again I would spend them with you

But there never seems to be enough time
To do the things you want to do
Once you find them
I've looked around enough to know
That you're the one I want to go through time with

If I had a box just for wishes
And dreams that'd never come true
The box would be empty
Except for the memory of how
They were answered by you

But there never seems to be enough time
To do the things you want to do
Once you find them
I've looked around enough to know
That you're the one I want to go through time with

I miss your constant chatter,
I miss the never-ending ringing of the phone,
I miss the loud music,
I even miss the long nights waiting,
for you to come home.....

Your love is everywhere. It follows me around the house,
it meets me in the garden, it sends peace to me in my dreams...

In desperate hope I go and search for you in all the corners of the house.
I seek your face in the garden. I pray to see you in my dreams.....

I will miss seeing your face and hearing your voice
and knowing you were always there close to me.
You have crossed a river from me that I must
wait to cross before I see you again.
Shelley, when I see a river, I will think of you.....

In my Father's house are many mansions:
if it were not so, I would have told you.
I go to prepare a place for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for you,
I will come again, and receive you unto myself;
that where I am there ye may be also.

Time Without You

Today is the day that you were born.
Oh, just a short 21 years ago.
To hold you in my arms that day.
Oh what a joy I came to know.

A bundle of love & smiles.
That's what you were to me.
My precious gift from the Heavens,
Oh that's you, My Shelley Marie.

The years with you just flew.
Flew past us oh too fast.
Why didn't you stay with me longer?
Why didn't your hugs last?

Oh yes, I am sad as I sit here this day.
It's so sad to struggle through.
But it's a day to rejoice in your memory.
That makes it a loving day too.

For without your love in my life,
I couldn't begin to give.
And without your presence in my heart,
I couldn't continue to live.

So as we stop this day to remember
all of the love we still share.
I'll hold on to your memory here,
While you let it go from up there.

Oh please let me feel your presence.
Surround your love all around me.
For I'll spend this birthday without you.
Oh, time without you, my Shelley Marie.
