Emergency Shelter Grant Program
The goals of the Emergency Shelter Grant Program are to assist with the following activities relating to emergency shelter for the homeless: renovation, major rehabilitation, or conversions of buildings for use as emergency shelters for the homeless; payment of maintenance, operation, insurance, utilities, and furnishings; payment for provision of essential community services including those concerned with employment, health, substance abuse, education, food, or prevention.
