Summary:Curly is a young man gone awry from the army who meets up with Mordeci Jones, a con-man, who likes Curly and offers to show him the tricks of his trade, as they travel through the south.
Everything works for awhile,but when Mordeci cheats a decent family with a young teen girl Bonnie Lee, Curly has had enough.He falls in love with the girl and decides to go straight, with her encouragement.
Mordeci refuses to leave his trade and ends up in jail.Curly, having guilty feelings, gets him out of jail by fessing up to his crimes and Mordeci escapes and is free.
