Summary:A English professor rents a room at a widow's home, and quickly becomes obsessed with her 12 year old daugher, Dolores(nicknamed "Lolita")He eventually marries her mother, just to be near the girl.
When the mother finds out(reading his diary of lust for the girl) she goes crazy and gets run over by a car.
The professor takes his now step-daughter on a cross-country journey, unaware that they are being followed by someone else who has feelings for Lolita
