-*-AJ-*-
"Denise? Hey?!" I pounded on the door to my room again.
"Denise? The door is locked!" I kept pounding until I heard the shower inside turn off.
It wasn't much longer until Denise answered the door. "What AJ?" she asked me her hazel eyes looking into mine. Those were the eyes that had won me over.
"The door was locked sweets," I replied giving her my classic puppy dog face.
"Duh! I was taking a shower," she replied rolling her eyes at me.
"Well can I come in now?"
"No, you have to wait for me to get dressed," Denise said and shut the door leaving me yet again alone in the hallway.
I decided to go see if Nick was here yet. I wandered down the hall toward Kevin's room. Maybe he knows where everyone is.
-*-Kevin-*-
I heard a knock at the door and got up from the couch where Celise and I were watching "The Crow" for about the fiftieth time. But it's her favorite movie so whatever makes her happy, I have no problem with it.
"AJ?" I said surprised, AJ was out wandering by himself.
"Hey, Kevin. Is Nick here yet?" he asked me. I was quite relieved he didn't come to talk my ear off.
"Actually I don't know. And I have no idea where Brian and Marissa went either. Brian's car isn't here anymore," I replied remembering seeing Brian and Marissa rush out earlier.
"Really? Where would they be going in this weather?"
"That's a good question," I replied.
-*-Brian-*-
"Brian, honey? Come grab this suitcase too," Marissa called to me from my car. I was already loaded down with enough luggage. I understand Nick just had a frightening experience but why can't he carry his own luggage? I asked myself as I willingly walked back to grab the other suitcase.
Nick wrapped his arm around his sister as they walked toward the front of the lodge. The snow was enough to blind you. I squinted my eyes and pulled my beanie down over my ears more.
This was going to be a long weekend.
"The smoke, is rising, in the shadows overhead, my glass is almost empty . . ."
