Chapter Four

-*-Denise-*-
"Where is that boy?" I asked Alexis.
"Who AJ?" Who knows? He could be out stripping in the snow for all we know," Alexis laughed. Alexis never failed to amuse me with her antic dotes on AJ's behavior.
"Maybe we should go join him then," I laughed raising an eyebrow as I took a bite of my tuna fish sandwich.
"Lets go to the lounge, maybe he's playing pool," Alexis suggested.
"Ok just let me put some slippers on or something," I said setting down my sandwich. The first things I found were AJ's leopard print slippers so I put them although they were big on me. It was weird being AJ's girlfriend and all considering I had the same name as his mother. But Aj's mom just insisted that I call her mom instead of Denise any ways.
"Ok, lets go," I said to Alexis as I shut the door to my room.

-*-Nick-*-
"Ok BJ, Brian already got your room ready. Here's your key, and don't trash the place," I laughed. BJ rolled her eyes and headed toward the elevator to head to her room.
"They grow up so fast man," I heard Brian say from behind me trying to fake tears. He started to laugh.
"Yeah, I hope she'll be all right though. I think she's still shaken up about the whole thing," I said surprisingly acting more serious then Brian for once.
"I'm going to head to my room," I said grabbing my suitcases from Brian. It felt good to be able to come to this lodge and have it shutdown for our use. I didn't have to worry about someone trying to rip out my hair while getting to my room.

-*-Alexis-*-
"There he is," I said to Denise. I pulled a strand of my dark brown hair behind my ear.
"Hey girls," Howie said to us. "AJ is just about to lose a game of pool," he said with a smile.
"Its not my fault! I'm not use to this kind of pool table!" AJ replied trying to come up with an excuse.
"Hi to you too AJ," Denise said. She could obviously care less about his little pool game.
I smiled at AJ. I had always had a thing for AJ. But Denise was the lucky one. We've been best friends forever but I never dare tell her my feelings for AJ.

"I read again between the lines upon each page, the words of love descending . . ."
