When Kevin got home, he heard his mom, talking in the kitchen. He was usually a good boy and didn't listen in on conversations,but he thought this would have to do with all the weirdo behavior lately.

He sat on the stairs and peeked in to see who she was talking to, it was his dad. Then he started to listen.

"I have good news honey" he heard his mom say

"What's that?" asked his father
"Well its good news for us but not for the kids" BR>
"You see that meeting I went to today with Sara & Maria's mom. That was a job discussion, they think we are worthy of a good promotion, even you. But the problem is..." "This is where the kids come in?" asked father. "Yea, well you see the promotion is to be a higher up... in another building... In different states. You see We're being transfered to Florida with Brian's parents, and Sara & Maria's mom has to go to NY."

Kevin barged in "How could you do this to us, our group, isn't the jobs you have now good enough?" he said, about to cry

His mom sighs and said under her breath "I knew something like this was gonna happen."

"When do we have to leave" Kev asked. His mom took a deep breath and said "Day after tomorrow" Kevin looked at his parents for a while, then ran upstairs to his room and slammed the door.
