A: Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. is an international social and service organization of college and professional men. It was founded in 1914 at Howard University in Washington D.C. Main focus are to promote the ideas of Brotherhood, Scholarship, and Service, as well as the general welfare of all humanity.
Q: Why should I want to become a brother of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity?
A: You should want to be a brother if you believe in the ideas of the fraternity: Brotherhood,
Scholarship and Service and its motto “Culture for Service, Service for Humanity. If you believe you can and would be a vital role in the grew and development of the fraternity. If you would like to
establish life time bond of brotherhood all around the United states and in other parts of the world.
Q: What does Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity look for in its prospective members?
A: The fraternity looks for members who possess:

- Progressive attitude for betterment of self and others
Members should also want to rise their qualities too not only bettering themselves and the
organization but the community as well, thus, promoting the organization’s motto “Culture

Q: What are the requirements to joining?
A: You have to complete at least one semester of classes with a minimum G.P.A. of 2.5 (from a 4.0 scale). It is often best to develop firm academic foundation by completing your freshman year before joining. There are other requirements which are stated at chapter's interest meetings.
