Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

When Kareem retired in 1989, the NBA lost a great player. His signature sky-hook shot is known all across America. Nobody has played in as many games as him, has as many blocked shots as him, has many points as him, and there is a lot of other catagories that nobody has topped him in yet. Kareem was part of the NBA's 35th Anniversary Team and the NBA's 50 Anniversary Team. He has been a member of six NBA championship teams. He has participated in 18 allstar games. He won the Rookie of the Year Award in 1970, and was the MVP six times.
