"StreetMean"
1967 Mustang Coupe
Here are four pics of what I had when I got her home. Rough inside and
out.
Not pictured is the stock I6 engine, no carb to be found and water
in the oil.
Not to worry with the engine, I have a 390 that I plan to rebuild when
I get StreetMean to roller status.

After a few weeks, I removed the seats and carpet and started removing the old, poorly repaired floor pans. It appeared that someone had previously attempted to repair the floor pans by laying bare flat sheets of aluminum over the rusted out pans. The aluminum was screwed down with sheetmetal screws and what appeared to be roofing tar was then pured over the entire "repaired" area. Below are two pictures where I have roughly removed the full passenger floor pan using an air chisel. Not pictured, I came back with an air cut-off wheel and removed the rough edges for a smooth edge. I have ordered full length floor pans for both passenger and driver sides. |
