Chapter 4

"Hey, Baby." Josh greeted Dana as she opened the door.

"Hi, Sweetie." she greeted him back. "I have some company."

They both walked over to join Brian in the living room.

"Brian, this is Joshua. Josh, this is Brian."

Both guys shook hands.

"Nice to meet you, Brian."

"Brian went to school with us before he moved." Dana added.

"Oh yeah, I remember you!" Josh said as memory set in. "I'm Dana's fiancee." he put his arms around her.

'Fiancee?' Brian though to himself. He felt jealous. He actually felt jealous. 'What the hell are you so jealous about?' he mentally scolded himself. He just couldn't sake the feeling though.

Then, it finally occurred to Brian that the two of them were dressed up. Probably to go celebrate their love. He hated this man.

"Well, I can see you two have plans. Um.." Brian reached into his pocket and pulled out a card. "Here's the hotel I'm at. Ask for the name on the back."

"See you later, Brian!" Dana called to him as he walked out the door.

She felt guilty for some reason. Josh grabbed her hand and led her to the car.

"Hey Brian!" Nick called out to his best friend. "Where'd you go? You're late for rehearsal."

"Sorry." Brian replied.

"That's fine, Bri. I mean AJ didn't even show up yet."

"Typical AJ McLean."

"So where did you go?"

"Um..to see someone."

"Who's someone?" Nick wiggled his eyebrows.

"No one. Just forget it." he stood up and walked away.

Nick watched his friend walk out.

"Ok, something's definitely wrong with him." Nick said aloud.

That night Dana couldn't sleep. It was highly unusual, because the past few weeks she had slept like a baby. She couldn't understand.

'It's just a coincidence that Brian's come back to town and that I can't sleep.' she told herself.

Of course, she didn't still have feelings for him. No, she didn't, not at all. And even if she did, she's getting married. Josh, the one guy she did love, would soon be her husband. Yeah, that's how it would be.

'If all that's true, why can't you stop thinking about him?' she asked herself.

Defeated, she groaned and tried to get some sleep, if it was even possible.

Her sweet lips burned his soul with each kiss he managed to steal from her. He ran his hands through her hair as their kiss deepened. She explored his mouth with her tongue. He moaned finding their kiss intoxicating. She smelled like the freshest of flowers, and he tasted like the sweetest chocolate.

They broke the kiss off abruptly for air. He began leaving trails of kisses down the side of her neck. Now it was her turn to moan from their pleasure.

"Oh my God." She gasped. "I love you so much."

His baby blue eyes searched her's to find out if it was true.

"I love you, Dana. I will forever."

"Brian, I've never stopped loving you."

Dana woke up gasping for air.

"What the hell's going on here?!" she screamed aloud.

The Next Morning

Dana stood there in the lobby of the hotel room waiting for someone to help her out. She came here to talk to Brian and prove to herself that her ream meant nothing. There was an inner battle going on inside her head. She felt so guilty and see hadn't even done anything. Yet, she had done so much! She was getting married, she couldn't have any dreams about Brian. She wasn't in love with him!

'I'm not, I can't be, never, ever in love with him. I mean sure he's cute, sweet, funny, charming, successful, and everything any girl would want...STOP! That's how those dreams start' she scolded herself. 'I mean, I'm only human to notice a great, dare I say, sexy man...'

"Dana, hi!" Brian startled her and she jumped out of her seat. He gave her a puzzled look.

"Um..hi." they started a light conversation.

She found out they all were gonna stay in town for a month. It turned out this was their last concert for this tour. They agreed on meeting later for dinner. A chance to catch up some more. He walked her back to her car. She drove off with a smile on her face. He walked back to his room with a huge grin. No one noticed Nick hiding behind the corner listening intently to their conversation and glowing smiles.

"So Brian's got girl troubles. That would explain alot actually." AJ spoke.

"Yeah, I saw the ring on her finger. She's definitely a taken girl. No wonder he's been depressed." Nick told the group.

"Poor Brian." Howie felt bad for him.

"What did she look like?" Kevin asked.

"Well, she had blonde hair, I think. It was should length. She was shorter than Brian. Average weight I guess.

"Did she look like this?" Kevin pulled out a picture of two teens and gave it to Nick.

He stared at it. he it was Brian since he had seen younger pictures of him before. The girl with him was definitely the one in the lobby. He silently noted that Brian had his arms around the girl as they both smiled for the camera.

"Yeah, that's her." he said handing back the photograph.

Kevin's face showed concern at Nick's conferment of his suspicions.

"Who is she?" AJ asked.

Kevin sighed and sat down.

"Get ready for a long story." he announced and continued to tell them who Dana exactly was.
