Appearance
Malagasy are multicultural, which is reflected in the clothes they wear. Men in the rural areas wear pants, shorts, and T-shirts. Women wear lambas (which are wrapped around their bodies like dresses). Men also wear lambas over their shoulder.
In urban areas, men tend to wear business suits, while women wear regular dresses. Some Malagasy who are Muslim wear the traditional robe and hats. Each tribe has their own style of lamba and other apparels, including hats.
