I have other things
And as I recall these memories again
Why then is today so important?
Because it's with us now...
And I can always remember our yesterdays and tomorrows... Remembering as I do
I continue looking forward

And think too much about tomorrow?
Where was the joy?
The feelings?
When we had today with all it's sorrow?
And for things not seen tomorrow?
Where did we go today?
When we had so much more to follow?
We hold them maybe too close
And because of them
We forget what was most special
Could get us through
Considered so unimportant
Because of tomorrow and yesterday?
Why were yours not so important today?
Tomorrow and Yesterday?
Left behind for now...

And I will always go there...
Just as important now
And that's today and what it may bring us
And it will leave you and I when it's gone

What today has given us
Is another day over again...
