Sometimes deception is acute and can suddenly sweep people away like a flood (Psa. 90:3-6; Rev. 12:15). But more often than not deception is a gradual process which takes place over a period of days, weeks, months or even years. Man usually forms his opinions based on his own life experiences and on the information that is readily accessible to him. Unfortunately, most of the sources we rely on for truthful, complete and unbiased information are sources controlled by the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience (Eph. 2:2). Bernard Goldberg, a former CBS news correspondent of twenty-eight years, exposed some of the media bias in the news industry. In his 2002 book, Bias, Goldberg said that It's important to know, too, that there isn't a well-orchestrated, vast left-wing conspiracy in America's newsrooms. The bitter truth, as we'll see, is arguably worse. (Bias, A CBS Insider Exposes How the Media Distort the News, 2002, p. 4). Daniel Webster said that If truth be not diffused, error will be: (A Dictionary of Thoughts, Tryon Edwards, D.D., 1908, p. 49). It is not a conservative Republican right-wing press verses a liberal Democrat left-wing press. It is not a left verses right issue. It is a truth verses falsehood issue.
Manipulation of left and right in domestic USA, where Wall Street supports both Republicans and Democrats, as their Australian associates support Liberal and Labor, is duplicated in the international field where left and right political structures are artificially constructed and collapsed in the drive for a one-world synthesis. In fact, 'left' and 'right' are two controlled factions of the Illuminati and other secretive societies. True history tells a story contrary to what we've been taught to regard as truth. Global elitists like The Order in the USA, The Group in the UK, the Illuminati in Germany, and the Politburo in Russia, control most of the media, the politics, the entertainment industries, and the education systems of the West. Thanks to corrupt and inept modern-day scholars, most of what is presented as history is in fact propaganda designed to control the masses. Our Western history is as distorted, censored, and largely useless as that of Hitler's Germany, the Soviet Union or Communist China.
Even our English dictionaries and encyclopedias have not escaped the influence of the Luciferian agenda of the New World Order elitists. We need only to read past dictionaries, encyclopedias and other reference works from one-hundred, two-hundred and three-hundred years ago and compare those with the information found in modern dictionaries and reference works to see the deceit being perpetrated against the un-suspecting public by modern-day scholarship. The word of God tells us that we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Eph. 6:12). And this is why we are told to search out a matter and [p]rove all things and search the scriptures daily, even as the noble Bereans who searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. (Prov. 25:2; I Thess. 5:21; Acts 17:11).
The following references are just a few examples of the gradual corrupting of English literature in modern times. In the 1724 edition of An Universal Etymological English Dictionary by Nathan Bailey the word Christ is defined as the Proper Name of the Ever-blessed Redeemer of mankind. One-hundred years later, in 1828, An American Dictionary of The English Language by Noah Webster gives this definition, an appellation given to the Savior of the World, and synonymous with the Hebrew Messiah. At the beginning of the 20th century the 1904 edition of Webster's Universal Dictionary says, The Anointed; an appellation given to Jesus of Nazareth and Synonymous with the Hebrew Messiah. Moving up to the year 1999 the tenth edition of Webster's Collegiate Dictionary says of Christ, 3: an ideal type of humanity. 4: Christian Science: the ideal truth that comes as a divine manifestation of God to destroy incarnate error. Notice that in the early 20th century the Ever-blessed Redeemer of mankind of the 1700's and the Savior of the World of the 1800's was referred to simply as Jesus of Nazareth, and by the end of that century Christ had evolved into the Luciferian doctrine of an ideal type of humanity whereby man can elevate himself by his own merits and sacrifices thereby achieving perfection and godhood. Other English words have also been changed and corrupted by modern scholars. Look up the definitions of the words fornication, transubstantiation, pagan and purgatory in Early English dictionaries and compare them with Modern English dictionary definitions and you will see that the same type of degradation has been done to these English words.
The following remarkable quote is from an early American public school text book for children called The Elementary Spelling Book:
Legislation is the enacting of laws, and a legislator is one who makes laws.
God is the divine legislator. He proclaimed his ten commandments, from mount Sinai.
In free governments, the people choose their legislators.
We have legislators for each state, who make laws for the state where they live. The town in which they meet to legislate, is called the seat of government. These legislators, when they are assembled to make laws, are called the legislature.
The people should choose their best and wisest men for their legislators.
lt is the duty of every good man, to inspect the moral conduct of the man who is offered as a legislator, as our yearly elections. If the people wish for good laws, they may have them, by electing good man.
The legislative councils of the United States should feel their dependence on the will of a free and virtuous people.
Our farmers, mechanics and merchants, compose the strength of our nation. Let them be wise and virtuous, and watchful of their liberties. (The Elementary Spelling Book, 1842, pp. 98,99); (see also the 1908 edition of The Elementary Spelling Book, 1908, pp. 98,99).
As we can see, the spirit of liberty permeated American society; and the Judeo/Christian foundations of our nation helped to spark and maintain these fires of liberty in the hearts and minds of our people. Generations of American children were taught the fundamentals of life from public school text books whose pages contained copious amounts of scriptures from the Holy Bible paraphrases and direct quotes. For instance, the 1822 edition of The American Spelling Book For The Use of Schools In The United States, under the heading, Lessons of easy words, to teach children to read, and to know their duty., reads:
NO man may put off the law of God: My joy is in his law all the day. O may I not go in the way of sin!... All men go out of the way. Who can say he has no sin?... The way of man is ill.... See not my sin, and let me not go to the pit. Rest in the Lord, and mind his word.... This life is not long; but the life to come has no end.... No man can say that he has done no ill. For all men have gone out of the way. There is none that doth good; no not one.... He who came to save us, will wash us from all sin; I will be glad in his name. A good boy will do all that is just; he will flee from vice; he will do good, and walk in the way of life. Love not the world, nor the things that are in the world; for they are sin. (The American Spelling Book, Noah Webster, 1822, pp. 43,44,45).
The 1842 edition of The Elementary Spelling Book stated:
Matrimony was instituted by God. The devil is the great adversary of man. All persons should wear a decent dress. We are apt to live forgetful of our continual dependence on the will of God. God governs the world in infinite wisdom; the Bible teaches us that it is our duty to worship him. It is a solemn thing to die and appear before God. If sinners entice thee, consent thou not, but withdraw from their company. The chewing of tobacco is a useless custom. Confess your sins and forsake them. The wicked transgress the laws of God. Liquors that intoxicate are to be avoided as poison. Before you rise in the morning or retire at night, give thanks to God for his mercies, and implore the continuance of his protection. Let all your words be sincere, and never deceive. A mediator is a third person who interposes to adjust a dispute between parties at variance. Christ is the mediator between an offended God and offending man. (The Elementary Spelling Book, 1842, pp. 52,58,66,69,72,74,76,77,79,80,82).
Even as late as the twentieth century, teachers in American public schools used text books that stressed the importance of the Christian religion and the true Christian Bible. The 1908 edition of The Elementary Spelling Book taught our children that The Holy Bible is the book of God. (The Elementary Spelling Book, Noah Webster, 1908, p. 26). (see also The New Instructor, 1803, The American Spelling Book, 1816, The American Spelling Book, 1822, The Elementary Spelling Book, 1842, Right of the Bible in Our Public Schools, 1859, The Bible in Schools, 1870, Bible Readings For Schools, 1897).
Note the absence of any reference to a Babylonian, Egyptian, Greek, or Roman god or goddess, and the absence of any reference to Buddha, Krishna, Allah, or any other pagan divinity or holy book. Note also the absence of any reference to religious rituals such as transubstantiation, praying to saints, and other un-Biblical superstitions. Noah Webster's popular ninteenth cuntury public school text book, History of the United States, stated: All worship of images and saints, is an abomination to God; it is idolatry, which is strictly forbidden in the Bible; Men began to understand their natural rights, as soon as the reformation from popery began to dawn in the sixteenth century; and civil liberty has been gradually advancing and improving, as genuine Christianity has prevailed. (History of the United States, pp. 273, 299). This and similar text books were the type of common school text books used in America's public schools for generations. And this is part of the reason why the church of Rome fought, overtly then covertly, to remove the Holy Bible from public schools. The same superstitious religious organization, that for centuries suppressed the true scriptures and burned both Bibles and martyrs, is also one of the entities responsible for helping to take the Holy Bible out of our public school class rooms and corrupting the true scriptures today (See Bible Possession Banned by the Catholic Church; Religious Freedom and Catholicism; Right of the Bible in Our Public Schools; Early Corruption Of The Scriptures; and Papal Sovereignty). The following books are confirmation of the afore mentioned facts:
No one is immune to deception. If we think we are immune to deception, we are being deceived. Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness. (I Cor. 3:18,19). The Bible said, And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know. (I Cor. 8:2): For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself. (Gal. 6:3). The prophet Obadiah said, The pride of thine heart hath deceived thee (Obad. 1:3). And Proverbs chapter 28 verse 26 says, He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool. Jesus Christ warned us that many would come in his name and would deceive many: Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ [Greek christos meaning Anointed]; and shall deceive many. (Matt. 24:4,5). The Bible said, Let no man deceive you with vain words: (Eph. 5:6) and Let no man deceive himself. (I Cor. 3:18). The apostle Paul said, Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, a falling away from the sound doctrine of the pure preserve[d] holy scriptures, the faith which was once delivered unto the saints (II Thess. 2:3; II Tim. 3:15; 4:2-4; Psa. 12:6,7; Prov. 30:5,6; Jude 1:3). Paul said, Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. (I Cor. 10:12).
