My Testimony

"Before he went home to be with the Lord"
The first thing I would have to say is the Lord is Awesome. He has blessed so much in my life. To tell you how I was saved is kinda of hard, but I think I can manage. The first time that I walked the isle was when I was about seven or eight years old. The only reason I did it then was that my cousin had done it about a month before that and I had looked up to him. Then I really didn't know what I was doing. The second time that I walked was when I was at Bethany watching the Power Team, and I thought then that I really knew what I was doing, but I was wrong. I only did it because everyone else was doing it. The third time was when we had revival at my last church and this time I really knew what I was doing, because ever since then my walk with the Lord has been growing ever since.
My life has had its ups and downs, but the Lord Jesus Christ has always been there to pick me up. One thing I can say is that ever since I came back from Centrifuge last summer the Lord and I have been tight. The Lord is explained all in one word "AWESOME"! Ever since I gave my life fully to Him and gave everything to Him, He has truly blessed me. I have been to many youth camps before and have fired up for about two or three weeks, but then something happens where I just go back to my old ways. One thing I can say is that the Lord has blessed me greatly ever since I've been saved. One thing is that He has gave me the strength to still be a virgin. Many times I could have loss it, but the good Lord said "NO". He has blessed me with strength to never smoke or drink. The Lord promises us strength with anything we need it for. Although I may be closer to God now than I've ever been the devil still tries to tempt with sin, but the Lord will prevail. One of my weaknesses is girls. The devil knows that I can easily fall for a girl, but now that the Lord and I have gotten that straight I don't have to worry about it anymore.
Shane is now home with his Heavenly Father. Although he is greatly missed here on earth we know he is were he wants to be. Remember his smile and his big hugs but most of all remember his heart and who he serviced. That is why he lives in Heaven.
