Crowley, Aleister - Magick in Theory and Practice. Paris: N.D. [1930]. First edition. Four volumes in the original printed wrappers. xxxi, 436 pp, with the color plate in volume one and the "Signs of the Grades" plate laid in loose in volume four. The covers of all four volumes are lightly soiled. Volume one has neat scotch tape repairs to the spine ends and to the fore edge of the front cover. Volume three has tape repairs to the spine ends only. There is a neat annotation in red pencil to page 96 and additional brief annotations in lead pencil to pages 14, 43, 230 and 231. The first page of each of the volumes has an old book store stamp at the lower margin. Altogether, a nice copy of the first edition of Crowley's masterwork. $600.00

Crowley, Aleister - Magick in Theory and Practice. Paris: 1929 [i.e.: 1930]. First hardcover edition. xxxiv, 436 pp. Backstrip detaching from spine with some loss of cloth, affecting the lettering ("C" and "K" of "Magick", "Y" of "Theory" and "C" and "E" of "Practice"). Covers discolored and slightly bowed. Offsetting to front and rear endpapers, two long creases to front free endpaper. Some judicious application of archival glue would do much for this copy. Except for a few light stains to a couple of leaves, a very nice copy internally. This "Subsciber's Edition" is bound from the same sheets as the four volume wrappered edition, except for the title page and the Table of Contents which were reset. Crowley, Aleister - Olla: An Anthology of Sixty Years of Song. London: O.T.O. 1946. First edition, limited to 500 copies. Portrait frontis. 128 pp. Original gilt-stamped green cloth. Corners a little bumped, occasional light rubbing to spine lettering. Two tiny dings to the front cover, three surface scratches to the rear cover. An attractive copy of a handsome book, but lacking the very scarce d.j. Crowley's personal selection of his own verse, this was the last book he published during his lifetime. $325.00

Crowley, Aleister - The Vision and the Voice. Dallas, TX: Sangreal. 1972. First edition thus. Introduction and explanation of the foot notes by Israel Regardie. 261 pp. Previous owner's blindstamp to title page. Dust jacket is price-clipped and has quite a few small areas of discoloration on verso from acidic tape used with an old jacket protector. The discoloration is faintly visible on the colored portions of the recto of the d.j., more obvious on the white portions. Except for being price-clipped, the d.j. is complete and without any chips or tears. $110.00

[Crowley, Aleister] Fuller, Capt. J.F.C. - The Star in the West. A Critical Essay Upon the Works of Aleister Crowley. (London: Neptune Press. 1976). Facsimile of the original 1907 edition, limited to 500 numbered copies. 327 pp. Old book seller's label to front pastedown, previous owner's signature to verso of frontispiece. Some magenta stains to the margins of several leaves. Backstrip faded. Very good without d.j., as issued. $125.00

[Crowley, Aleister]Ayers, J.R. & Bill Siebert, eds. - Mezla. Volume 1, Numbers 1-12. Ithaca & Buffalo, NY. 1973-1979. 50 pp. Unbound sheets, as issued. The complete first volume of the official newsletter of Kenneth Grant's O.T.O. Individual numbers vary in length from 2 to 12 pages. Fine condition except for some age-darkening of the paper. Contains various pieces by Aleister Crowley including "Ethyl Oxide", "The Order and Value of the English Alphabet", "Comment to Liber Liberi vel Lapis Lazuli", "The Book of the Caphaloedium Working" (plus C.F. Russell's rather acerbic commentary on the latter). Also includes "A Tarot of the Qlipoth" by Soror Andahadna (a.k.a. Nema), an account of the successful search for Lake Pasquaney in New Hampshire, official O.T.O announcements, book reviews and much more. $60.00
