Great people that I admire

Robert E. Lee, Confederate General, devout Christian, brilliant tactition: "Stuart will run rings around them."

Thomas Stonewall Jackson, Confederate General, devout Christian, fierce warrior: "We must give them the bayonet!"

Amelia Earhart, Female Pilot: "The most difficult thing is the decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity."

Belle Boyd, elegant Confederate spy. Upon being hard-pressed, in a Federal Prison, to swear allegiance to the US: "Tell Mr. Stanton for me, I hope when I commence that oath, my tongue may cleave to the roof of my mouth. If I ever sign one line to show allegiance, I hope my arm falls paralyzed to my side. Im so disgusted I cant endure your presence any longer!"

I am not Native American but this is the sentiment we should all have: Crazy Horse, Warrior: "My lands are where my dead lie buried," "All we wanted was peace and to be let alone..."

My parents, who would probably not want their pics on the Net, but this photo reminded me of them. We saw Bird of Paradise growing wild in the tropics.

Lady Diana, beautiful and kind, always royalty: "I have a woman's instinct and it's always a good one."

Joan of Arc, fierce in battle and lovely in countenance: "Hold the cross high so I may see it through the flames!" (Burned at the stake for heresy and witchcraft.)
