Toby TuMy Lhasa Apso, Toby, was a lifelong companion and my best friend. We met in Dallas when he was a small puppy.Tu is the Spanish familiar for "you" as in "I love you." Toby was a world traveller. He grew up in the U.S. Canal Zone, in the Republic of Panama. He moved with me to Austin, Texas, then to Houston. He lived to an old and happy age, before he became too ill to treat. One day it was apparent that this was the time for my terrible decision. He began to slip away on the drive to the Vet, reassuring me that I had chosen correctly...
