I just wanted to let you guys know that my Mom passed away on November 10th.
She was in a car wreck on the 5th. Thank y'all for being her friends. Joel

Joel, as you can tell, KnowPost can be extremely supportive to their own...and their families. Your mom and I had chatted before, and corresponded via ceremail. She had some great advice for me a few times, and it really helped. SHe was a a great person, but you don't need anyone else telling you that. I'm sure you already know.You ask what are you doing to do now.. well, the only thing that you can do is the best you can. You'll never be completely over the loss of a loved one, but you will move on. Be around family and friends who can give you the support that they'll also need. Cry when you need to cry, and be alone when you need to be alone.
Thank you for letting us know, and I do hope that you'll stay around. My thoughts are with you.. Lisa

Dear Joel, I am so terribly sorry, this is such a shock. She was one of us and it is so sad that we have lost her. I know how hard it is on you and right now, all I can do is say prayers for her, you and the rest of the family. I will certainly be doing that and I know everybody else here will. I don't even know what to say, it is so hard to believe...
I am sure we will be talking to you again. This really hurts, I hope you will be all right.

I'm sorry to hear that. That's nasty news. I hope you have family and friends close enough to bind together and make it a little easier. I know all the all the prayers and positive energy of the KP crowd will be in your favor. This is the second KnowPost death in about a month, I hope it's a long time until the next one.

My Mom, Evie,talked about y'all like you were real people. I mean,I know you are real people,but she acted like y'all were right next door. We talked about you at the supper table sometimes... She worried about Jeannie's baby, Mystery Woman getting killed off, Fran's marriage, Colleen's health, George's troubles (?) ...She said she could say anything here and she loved it. I c-mailed Clay to ask him not to let anyone use 3moons here again. I don't think this is being selfish.The only good thing about this is Mom is with my sister Miri again. This f****** sucks! She wanted to help people, and it got her killed. She pulled out in front of a van. The State Trooper said it was on her blind side. She lost so much in her life, and it never beat her. She was the strongest person I know, and I never told her that.
What am I supposed to do now???????

Oh Joel, I am positively shaking! How terrible. I just can't tell you how I feel. Your Mom and I had recently struck up an acquaintanceship here on KP - she had such a positive outlook, even with all that she had been through. Please accept my sincerest sympathies and the love and caring that come with it. My thoughts are with you - may she rest in peace.

The first time I ever talked to 3moons was when Nickfry sent me a cmail asking me to cmail 3moons and wish her to feel better. I had never talked to her before, but i know it feels good to hear that someone cares about you no matter what, so i sent her a little note telling her i hope she felt better soon, and to hang in there.
She wrote me back the sweetest note. She said that she was so glad I wrote to her, and that it was a perfect example of why she enjoyed knowpost, because of all the caring people. she took so much time to write back and tell me how she was-she was upbeat, and incredibly friendly and sweet. It shone through in her note. I started following her answers and noticed that this sweetness was not a one time thing-in spite of everything bad that was going on with her she always had a kind word for somebody. Even that little bit of knowing her made me want to be kinder to other people and make them feel as special as she made me feel that day.
I was very sad to read about her. The soaps that her son posted reinforced my initial feeling that she was a very special person. I know her soul is in a beautiful place now, free of pain, full of happiness just like she deserves..
