~Became An Angel at 4 hours old~

To feel you breathing,
To hold you in my arms,
I want that one more time.
To watch you grow,
To watch you play,
Only in my minds eye,
Holding you in my arms alive
Was the greatest feeling I ever had.
To feel you kick,
Was the greatest experience
that I had ever felt.
I still see you alive in my arms
Though that is no longer possible.
I will always love you,
Even though you are no longer here.
To sit by your grave
is the closest I can get for now,
But I am glad for that privalige.
You were so small,
So delicate,
So beautiful.
I felt I had to shield you from everything.
Now I can, You will never be hurt,
Or go hungry, Or never be without,
Because you are my son,
And in God's protection,
You will be safe.....
I miss you now,
I always will.
I love you now,
I always will.
Though my arms ache for you now,
And I feel empty inside,
And my heart is heavy,
I have a knowledge
I will see you again,
I will hold you again,
I will kiss you again,
I will touch your tiny little body
In Heaven.
For now I have shattered dreams,
And few photographs and memories,
But the most wonderful thing of all
is that you have gone to be with Jesus
And I will be with you again when
my time here on earth is done.
And I know that my memories
my love will never fade!

I Love You
Mom

Little Angels

When God calls little children to dwell with him above,
We mortals sometimes question the wisdom of his love.
For no heartache compares with the death of a child,
Who does so much to make our world seem wonderful and mild.
Perhaps God tires of calling the aged to his fold,
So he picks a rosebud before it can grow old.
God knows how much we need them and so He takes but few,
To make the land of heaven more beautiful to view.
Believing this is difficult still somehow we must try,
The saddest word mankind knows will always be "goodbye."
So when a little child departs, we who are left behind,
Must realize God loves children, Angels are hard to find.
