Josh sings a mix of pop and classical music in English, Italian, Spanish and French. I play his music while I write because his voice is magic. Don’t believe me, then by all means see for yourself! Listen to his music at his site.

Okay I asked a question and he answered it, still pretty cool. It's towards the bottom. Here is the break down.
MSNLive_Star says: I've had such an incredible time on tour but I'm glad to be home now working on new music.
towhereurjoshgroban: in Onstage_1 asks: You have a very devoted fan base, how do you feel about them?
MSNLive_Star says: Well first of all thanks to all the fans who joined this chat today..I'm amazed at how many questions came in!
MSNLive_Star says: My fans are the greatest. From the beginning support after Ally Mcbeal to the amazing support and energy during this very long tour and their wonderful humanitarian efforts...they truly inspire me everyday.
MSNLive_Star says: But I think you all know that. )
MSNLive_Star says: We were right at the end of the summer tour so the emotions were running high. I think the overall highlight was that it was at the end of the best summer of my life and at a venue that I've grown up next to.
MSNLive_Star says: Not to mention seeing all of you there and having my friend Bela Fleck join me on stage.
MSNLive_Star says: South Africa was life changing for me on many levels. I wish we could have stayed for another month.
MSNLive_Star says: Of course we did some of the tourist stuff and went on an incredible safari and got a sense for the land and wildlife which was beyond beautiful.
MSNLive_Star says: But the real moments that I will remember forever were in Soweto where I met Nelson Mandela and visited one of his food shelters first hand.
MSNLive_Star says: It was an honor to become an ambassador for his 46664 foundation for AIDS and I hope to visit many times in support of that cause as well as Unite Against Hunger.
MSNLive_Star says: On a musical side, I have always been fascinated with the music in Africa and hope to incorporate some of those influences on the next album.
MSNLive_Star says: On a musical side, I have always been fascinated with the music in Africa and hope to incorporate some of those influences on the next album.
JEANNIEMSN1 in Onstage_1 asks: When can we expect to see you in concert again. We all love you!!!
MSNLive_Star says: My last tour was eye opening for me and I hope to be touring my whole life.
MSNLive_Star says: As much as I love the studio experience there is something about the live aspect and the energy that my fans bring to a venue that is the greatest high in the world and allows me to have fun and experiment and hopefully leave something on stage that is
MSNLive_Star says: unique every night.
MSNLive_Star says: I promise that on the next tour we will be visiting many places, especially internationally, that I regretfully did not visit this last go around.
MSNLive_Star says: That includes MANY more shows in every continent. Thanks for your patience!
MSNLive_Star says: The next tour will probably be somewhere in the fall of 06...thats what I would like...maybe sooner, maybe a little later.
stressedmusicstudent in Onstage_1 asks: we need you in Illinois because we have nothing but corn to keep us interested.
MSNLive_Star says: Mmmmm corn. My favorite veggie. If I lived in a state with nothing but corn, I honestly wouldn't care if I was coming to perform but thanks! I hope to be back soon!
TrishaM2 in Onstage_1 asks: When can we expect the next album?
MSNLive_Star says: Also really happy that everyone is asking this. I'm hard at work in the studio writing and collaborating with many different people some new and some that have always been in my team.
MSNLive_Star says: but we're doing great and I'm hoping to have it out at the beginning of summer 06. Again, all these dates are obviously open to change but thats where I'm aiming! DishDiva says: I hear you have someone new in your life.
MSNLive_Star says: Yes it's true.
MSNLive_Star says: I have a new puppy and he's awesome.
MSNLive_Star says: He's 4 months old and his name is Sweeney.
MSNLive_Star says: He's a weaten terrier and he's great because he doesn't shed so I hope he'll come on the road with me.
MSNLive_Star says: But right now he chews too much!!
MSNLive_Star says: I'm really proud of the stuff I was able to co-write on the last album and it's certainly a lot of fun to perform stuff that you feel that close to from the beginning.
MSNLive_Star says: So yeah I'm writing a ton and we'll see what makes it on the album but it's such a wonderful experience and so important to do to become more connected to yourself even if you sing other peoples songs.
MSNLive_Star says: Thanks for the movie question! I am still on the quest for the absolute right project because the music has been number one for so long.
MSNLive_Star says: I've had many great meetings and have read many great scripts but I want to choose something that feels perfect and is at the right time schedule wise. It will happen!
MSNLive_Star says: My favorite songs to perform are those that I can play an instrument as well like piano or drums. I don't have a least favorite sorry!
MSNLive_Star says: Sometimes I get a little tired of singing something and you can tell by my set lists which songs those are!!
DishDiva says: Josh, I don't know how to tell you this but there are LOTS of fans who want to know what you are wearing so I gotta ask
MSNLive_Star says: I have on a top hat, a scarf, gigantic sunglasses, bicycle shorts and eskimo boots.
MelstheJoshGFan in Onstage_1 asks: Come on Josh, make our day!
MSNLive_Star says: And yes I'm blushing.
Grobbyhoff1 in Onstage_1 asks: what is the most humerous thing you experienced during your tour?
MSNLive_Star says: When you do 200 concerts you hope nothing will go wrong but sometimes you just crack up and can't stop.
MSNLive_Star says: was singing a song called Un Amore Per Sempre in Toronto and it's this really serious song and it was at a moment when I walk down the stairs at the climax of the song and I just plain slipped and took a spill. I remember laughing for a second and then
MSNLive_Star says: finishing the last note.
MSNLive_Star says: The funniest stuff though honestly is when fans come up to the stage and talk to me out of no where.
MSNLive_Star says: I'll be saying "Thank you very much...this next song is ..." and out of nowhere someone will be at the front handing me a doll of myself saying "TOLEDO THINKS YOU HAVE SEXY ELBOWS!"
MSNLive_Star says: I have a field day with those people. Be warned...come up to the front and you will be messed with.
MSNLive_Star says: Well thanks very much! I love singing in other languages and I love the process of learning exactly what I'm singing and translating that to the audience.
MSNLive_Star says: I don't speak the languages fluently (yet!) but I'm taking lessons all the time and I hope to expand upon the choice of languages as I make more albums.
MSNLive_Star says: Growing up, the language I chose to learn was Japanese so maybe I'll have a Japanese song ready for my tour over there!
MSNLive_Star says: I don't think I've ever had a PERFECT day but it would be a combination of my tour life and my home life.
MSNLive_Star says: I'd wake up early, have a cup of coffee and people watch with my dog, then I'd get on a roller coaster and jump on stage for a concert (which actually happened in Darien Lakes, NY)
MSNLive_Star says: then I'd have dinner with my family, get on my motorcycle (which I don't have yet), go home and watch Family Guy with a bowl of gummy worms.
MSNLive_Star says: Thats close anyway.
