~Because myI AM Site was getting to long I have started I AM PART TWO and am starting with my Testimony from that Site.~
~I AM, I AM, I AM, I AM~
~Many years ago I was very troubled and had not had a good nights sleep for several nights, I tossed and turned in bed and in my head I heard over and over, I am,I am, I am, I am. I got out of bed and walked into the livingroom in the dark, turned on a light, picked up my bible and opened it. In front of my eyes, there it was, Jesus saith unto him,"I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6 I dear friends had found the way, the truth and life!
~I AM~
~I was regretting the past
and fearing the future.
Suddenly God was speaking:
"MY NAME IS I AM."~
~I waited. God continued:
"When you live in the past
with its mistakes and regrets,
it is hard. I am not there.~
MY NAME IS NOT I WAS.~
~When you live in the future,
with its problems and fears,
it is hard. I am not there.
MY NAME IS NOT I WILL BE.~
~When you live in this moment,
it is not hard, I am here.
"MY NAME IS I AM."~

~A TRUE LOOK AT LIFE~
~Life can seem ungrateful and not always kind.
Life can pull at your heartstrings and play
with your mind.~
~Life can be blissful and happy and free.
Life can put beauty in the things that you see.
Life can place challenges right at your feet.
Life can make good of the hardships we meet.~
~Life can overwhelm you and make your head spin.
Life can reward those determined to win.
Life can be hurtful and not always fair.
Life can surround you with people who care.~
~Life clearly does offer its Up and its Downs.
Life's days can bring you both smiles and frowns.
Life teaches us to take the good with the bad.
Life is a mixture of happy and sad.~
~So take the Life that you have and give it your best. Think positive be happy let God do the rest.
Take the challenges that life has laid at your feet. Take pride and be thankful for each one you meet.~
~To yourself give forgiveness if you stumble and fall.
Take each day that is dealt you and give it your all. Take the love that you're given and return it with care.
Have faith that when needed it will always be there.~
~Take time to find the beauty in the things that you see.
Take life's simple pleasures let them set your heart free.
The idea here is simply to even the score As you are met and faced with Life's Tug of War~ ~Author Unknown~
~HOW MUCH A PRAYER WEIGHS~
~Louise Redden, a poorly dressed lady with a look of defeat on her face, walked into a grocery store. She approached the owner of the store in a most humble manner and asked if he would let her charge a few groceries. She softly explained that her husband was very ill and unable to work, they had seven children and they needed food.~
~John Longhouse, the grocer, scoffed at her and requested that she leave his store. Visualizing the family needs, she said: 'Please, sir! I will bring you the money just as soon as I can." John told her he could not give her credit, as she did not have a charge account at his store.~
~Standing beside the counter was a customer who overheard the conversation between the two. The customer walked forward and told the grocer that he would stand good for whatever she needed for her family. The grocer said in a very reluctant voice, "Do you have a grocery list? Louise replied "Yes sir" "O.K." he said, "put your grocery list on the scales and whatever your grocery list weighs, I will give you that amount in groceries."~
~Louise hesitated a moment with a bowed head, then she reached into her purse and took out a piece of paper and scribbled something on it. She then laid the piece of paper on the scale carefully with her head still bowed. The eyes of the grocer and the customer showed amazement when the scales went down and stayed down. The grocer, staring at the scales, turned slowly to the customer and said begrudgingly, "I can't believe it."~
~The customer smiled and the grocer started putting the groceries on the other side of the scales. The scale did not balance so he continued to put more and more groceries on them until the scales would hold no more. The grocer stood there in utter disgust. Finally, he grabbed the piece of paper from the scales and looked at it with great amazement. It was not a grocery list, it was a prayer which said: "Dear Lord, you know my needs and I am leaving this in your hands."~
~The grocer gave her the groceries that he had gathered and placed on the scales and stood in stunned silence.
Louise thanked him and left the store. The customer
handed a fifty-dollar bill to John as he said, "It was
worth every penny of it." It was sometime later that
John Longhouse discovered the scales were broken; therefore, only God knows how much a prayer weighs.~

~GOD'S RAINBOW~
~Rainbows appear after mighty storms,
When things look their very worst,
Just when the skies are darkest grey,
Look for the rainbow first.~
~The rainbow is a sign of God's promise,
That He will guide us through any storm,
That He will see us through all our troubles,
No matter what their form.~
~When you feel battered by life's storms,
And you are filled with doubt and dismay;
Just remember God's rainbow is coming
It's only a prayer away.~

~A PRAYER~
~Father, I ask you to bless my friends reading this right now. I am asking You to minister to their spirit at this very moment. Where there is pain, give them Your peace and mercy. Where there is self doubting, release a renewed confidence in Your ability to work through them. Where there is tiredness, or exhaustion, I ask You to give them understanding, patience, and strength as they learn submission to your leading. Where there is spiritual stagnation, I ask You to renew them by revealing Your nearness, and by drawing them into greater intimacy with You. Where there is fear, reveal Your love, and release to them Your courage. Where there is a sin blocking them, reveal it, and break its hold over my friend's life. Bless their finances, give them greater vision, and raise up leaders, and friends to support, and encourage them. Give each of them discernment to recognize the evil forces around them, and reveal to them the power they have in You to defeat it. I ask You to do these things in Jesus' name.~
~IN THE AMEN CORNER~
~It was a stylish congregation
You could see they'd been around
And they had the biggest pipe organ
Of any church in town.~
~But over in the amen corner of this church
Sat Brother Ira
And he insisted every Sunday
On singing in the choir.~
~His voice was cracked and broken
Age had touched his vocal cords
And he'd get behind and miss the words
Well the choir stormed and blustered.~
~Brother Ira sang too slow
And he sang the tunes that were in style
A hundred years ago
So at last the storm cloud burst
The church was told in bind
That Brother Ira must stop his singing
Or the choir was going to resign.~
~So the pastor appointed a committee
I think it was three or four
And they got into thier big fine cars
And drove up to Ira's door
They found the choir's great trouble
Sittin in an old arm chair.~
And the summer's golden sunbeams
Played upon his snow white hair.~
~He was singing Rock Of Ages
In a cracked voice soft and low
But the angels in Heaven understood him
And that's all he cared to know.~
~Said York we're here dear Brother
With the Vestries appreciation
To discuss a little matter that
Affects the congregation.~
~Now we don't want no more singin,
Except that what we bought
The new ones are all the rage
The old ones stand for naught.~
~And so we've decided
Are you listening Brother Ira
You're gonna have to stop your singin
It's messin up the choir.~
~The old man raised his head
A sign that he did hear
And on his cheek the three men
Caught the glitter of a tear.~
~His feeble hands pushed back
The locks as white as silky snow
And he answered the committee
In a voice both soft and low.~
~I've sung the songs of David
Almost eighty years said he
They've been my staff and comfort
All along life's dreary way.~
~I'm sorry I disturbed the choir
I guess I'm doin wrong
But when my heart is filled with praise
Why I can't keep back a song.~
~You know I wonder if beyond the tide
That's breakin at my feet
In that far off Heavenly temple
where my Master I shall meet.~
~Wonder if when I try to sing
The songs of God on higher
Reckon they'll kick me out up there
For singin in Heaven's choir.~
~A silence filled the little room
The old man bowed his head
The committee went on back to town
But Brother Ira was dead.~
~Oh the choir missed him for a while
But he was soon forgot
And a few church members
Watched the door
But the old man entered not.~
~Far away his voice is sweet
And he sings his hearts desires
Where there are no church committee's
And no fashionable choir's.~

~SOMEBODY CARES~
~Somebody cares and always will,
The world forgets but God loves you still,
You cannot go beyond His love
No matter what you're guilty of,
For God forgives until the end,
He is your faithful, loyal friend
And though you try to hide your face
There is no shelter any place
That can escape His watchful eye.~
~For on the earth and in the sky,
He's ever present and always there
To take you in His tender care
And bind the wounds and mend the breaks
When all the world around forsakes.
Somebody cares and loves you still
And God is the Someone who always will.~

~THE RUSTY BUCKET~
~There is an old water bucket,
Lying out beside the fence,
why anyone would keep it,
to me just made no sense.~
~The bottom is so rusty,
no water will it hold,
the handle is all twisted,
the bucket is so old.~
~For many years I kept it,
for the good that it had been,
It used to serve a purpose,
but that was way back then.~
~Now it's just an eyesore,
a useless piece of rusty tin,
I thought that I would trash it,
with other junk and then...~
~I heard the sound of thunder
in the distant sky,
and then a softer, sweeter sound,
And this one was near by.~
~It was the sound of summer raindrops
beating a rhythm like a drum,
I listened in amazement
and then began to hum.~
~I noticed a sparrow taking refuge
underneath a big green tree
and he began to sing along..
with the raindrops and with me.~
~I saw the leaves were dancing
and flowers swayed, beautiful and bold
as raindrops on an old rusty bucket
made music to cheer the soul.~
~I lifted my eyes toward Heaven
and thanked My father there
For teaching me this lesson
and now with you I share.~
~I was feeling just as useless
as that bucket seemed to be
I just going through a season
of thinking no one needed me.~
~But then I was reminded that to
give an encouraging word or a smile
Could mean the world to others
and that makes my life worthwhile.~
~All things serve a purpose,
so look around and consider again..
the things you thought were useless
like the rusty bucket made of tin.~

~WE WANT AMERICA BACK~
~Something is wrong in America.
She once held the Bible as her conscience and guide.
But we've allowed those,
who hold nothing to be sacred,
like Sodom of old, to cast morals aside.~
~Where are the men, who once stood for right?
And the women, who championed their cause?
We must return, to the values we've left
before this country we love, is totally lost.
We want America Back
from those who have no self control.
We want America Back.~
~This nation is like a runaway train
Headed down the wrong track.
It's time for the army of God to arise
and say we want America Back.~
~I love America, but I do not love what she has become.
Scripture says,"Blessed is the nation
whose God is the Lord",
and America has forgotten the Godly foundation
upon which she was built.~
~Something is wrong!
Our children are asked to attend public schools
that in many cases resemble war zones;
without even the most basic right of any soldier,
the right to pray to the God of Heaven.
Many times the wild eyed, drug addicted,
gun carrying teenager is allowed to stay in school
while our Supreme Court decided to expel God
from the classroom over thirty years ago.~
~Something is wrong!
Television daily bombards the senses of our nation
with the idea that wrong is right,
that the abnormal is normal,
that the abhorrent is acceptable,
and that what God calls an abomination
is nothing more than the choice of an alternate lifestyle.
And it has had an effect.~
~Thirty years ago, the number one televsion program
in America was the Andy Griffith show.
Look what we have today!
Something is wrong!~
~When our government can pass out contraceptives
to children in school without parental consent,
but yet the Gideons can no longer pass out
the Bible on campus.
Something is wrong!~
~When our leaders can say to your children and mine
that premarital sex is alright as long as it's safe.
Yes, something is wrong!~
~And I for one, am ready for a change.
I will say to my government,
"I'm not raising dogs in my house,
I'm raising children created in the image
and the likeness of the Almighty Father."
I'm going to teach them the Bible.~
~If the Bible says it's right, it's right!
And if the Bible says it's wrong, then it's wrong!
The only hope that America has,
is that Godly men and women of character
will stand together as one mighty army
and declare to the immoral, the impure,
the obscene, and the foul,
that your days of unlimited access
to the minds of America are over.~
~The army of God that has been silent too long
is taking America back.~
