1. Congratulations to Shona Portier for being picked Sister of the Month for December. Shona is always willing to help and attends all functions for the Auxiliary and Knights.
2. I would like to thank Pearl Courmier and Effie LeCompte for making the delicious egg nog that was served after midnight Mass.
3. On February 3rd Our Auxiliary will be hosting the District 7 meeting at the KC Home. We would like for as many of our members to attend as possible. We need gifts for the raffle tables and help to decorate that morning around 10:00 A.M.
4. February 5th is Confirmation at St. Bernadette. The Auxiliary is in charge of setting up the tables for the refreshments after confirmation. If you can help contact either Peggy at 876-2423 or Bonna at 876-1332.
5. February 4th is the first Friday of the month. There is Adoration in the Chapel from 12 noon until 9 P.M. Why not go and spend one hour in Adoration.
6. February 9th is our monthly meeting. Please make every effort to attend.
7. February 11th will be the family rosary. Last month, because of the Home Association meeting the attendance was great. Why not, come this and every month to pray the rosary with us. It only takes 15 minutes and the rewards are great.
8. February 17th is the Fourth Degree social. This is also a pot luck social. If your husband is a fourth degree member, bring your favorite dish and join us.
9. February 15th is our family social. This is a pot luck social so why not come and bring your favorite dish.
10. February 19th the Auxiliary is having a State meeting in Crowley. This is also the religion contest. If you would to come call Peggy.
11.February 20th is the Auxiliaries Mass. If you would like to bring up the gifts you can call Peggy and let her know, or come to the meeting on February 9th and let Bonna know then.
12. The Auxiliary will not have a Bingo game this month. It has been canceled.
13. Starting February 25th the Mardi Gras parades will be parading along West Park. Everyone needs to be extra careful.
14. If you still have Wilma Lane tickets to sell, please bring them to the meeting or give them to Peggy. We need to know how many tickets are left.
15. We are planning to have a rummage sale in March at the Craft show. We were donated clothes from Al Hirt the famous trumpet player to sell for a fundraiser. At our next meeting we will be discussing this and any other suggestions.
Please pray for all our sick members and an end to abortion.
