1. Ladies District meeting to be held October 23rd at the KC Home.
2. Congratulations to Joan Colwart picked as Sister of the month for August. Joan is one of our very helpful members.
3. October 4th is our PoKeNO Game if you would like to play, call Carolyn Songe.
4. October 5th is first Friday devotions in the Chapel at St. Bernadette come spend an hour with the Lord.
5. October 8th thru 12th we need volunteers to help with the interviews for the toy drive with Catholic Social Services. We will interview from 9 AM til 4 PM, Monday thru Friday. If you can help call Bonna LeCompte.
6. October 10th is our regular business meeting. We will finalize the plans for our District meeting.
7. October 13th-14th is Downtown on the Bayou. We have a booth again this year. If you would like to help call Gerald Rivette at 223-1351.
8. October 16th we will have our annual Columbus Day banquet. We will need help to decorate the home that morning.
9. October 19th is our regular Family Rosary at the KC Home 7 PM. Home Association meeting to follow.
10. October 21st is our monthly Mass at St. Bernadette Church at 8:00 AM. If you would like to bring up the gifts call Bell Ardoin.
11. October 21st is the St. Bernadette Annual Family Pinic. The men will be cooking for this event. There will be games for the children. There will be a hay ride for all. Your help will be needed. Come have have a good time with your fellow parishners.
12. October 26th is the annual hayride at TARC. We need your help, if you have never taken part in this, please try to come. It’s very rewarding.
13. October 23rd we will host the District 7 meeting at the KC Home. This will be the District cake and pie contest. Zora LeFleur won first place in the cake division and Peggy Portier won in the pie division on the Auxiliary level. They will both compete in the District contest. The winner of the District will go to the State finals. That morning we will meet at the KC Home at 8:30 to start cooking and then to decorate the Hall. We will need lots of help.
14. October 31st is Halloween, please be careful there will be children trick or treating in the subdivisions.
15. This year we didn’t have a blood drive at the KC Home. Blood can be given at Terrebonne General. You can give blood every two months. We have six months to make our quota. Be sure to mention KC 7355 when giving.
